Our Founder
Raised in a family behind one of New Jersey’s most established architecture and planning firms—with over 75 years of experience— Virgona grew up immersed in design, development, and the language of building. Learning AutoCAD at a young age and working alongside industry professionals became second nature, laying the foundation for a lifelong career in the built environment.
After earning a degree in Construction Management from Everglades University, Julian gained hands-on experience at the highest level, managing construction and facilities for David Grutman’s Groot Hospitality—helping bring to life some of Miami’s most iconic venues.
Driven by a passion to carry the family legacy forward and create something of his own, Julian earned his Certified General Contractor license in his early twenties and launched Virgona FL. His approach combines old-school principles with a modern eye—prioritizing quality, efficiency, and a deep understanding of both design and execution.
Today, he leads a new generation of builders and developers in South Florida—grounded in experience, built on trust, and driven by vision.
